The official station of ZomboidZ + CryoZ

Survive the silence. Tune into CryoRadio.

CryoRadio brings a genuine live radio station into ZomboidZ and CryoZ: music, server activity, announcements, live DJs and emergency broadcasts heard through powered in-game radios.

Turn on a radio, tune to 107.4 MHz and hear the same live programme as every other tuned-in survivor—complete with in-game volume, distance, positioning and radio state.

ZomboidZ supports the Windows, Linux and macOS Receivers. CryoZ uses the unified Windows Receiver 0.5.12.

CryoRadio connects the server, its survivors and its stories to one shared live broadcast.

Music and live shows

Hear curated music, station identities, scheduled programming, live DJ broadcasts and properly mixed announcements.

ZomboidZ + CryoZ server feeds

CryoRadio can carry server news, survivor activity, leaderboard updates, warnings and other live ZomboidZ information.

Get on the air

Three steps to hear CryoRadio.

The Workshop mod reads the in-game radio. The Receiver plays the secure live broadcast through your normal Windows or Linux audio device.

Both components are required. Subscribe to the CryoRadio Workshop mod and install the Receiver for Windows or Linux.
Step three

Launch and tune in

Start Project Zomboid normally through Steam, join ZomboidZ, power on a radio and tune it to 107.4 MHz.

Receiver Details
CryoZ / DayZ

CryoRadio is live in DayZ.

The same CryoRadio station now works in CryoZ on DayZ. Install the unified Windows Receiver 0.5.12, subscribe to the DayZ Workshop mod, and use supported radios on 107.4 MHz.

One Windows Receiver

Receiver 0.5.12 supports both Project Zomboid and DayZ from the same installation. It detects which supported game is running and follows that game's CryoRadio state.

107.4 MHz in DayZ

CryoRadio uses 107.4 MHz through supported Handheld and Field Transceivers, the Portable CryoRadio, static PanelBig radios and PA systems in CryoRadio mode.

Receive-only protection

CryoRadio 107.4 is receive-only. Player microphone and radio transmission audio cannot enter or interrupt the CryoRadio broadcast.

Spatial radio audio

Carried radios play directly for the player while nearby world and static radios fade naturally with distance and position.

George helps you get connected

If CryoRadio becomes active in DayZ and the Receiver is not installed, George gives a short local introduction and points you to this page. The reminder runs once per DayZ session.

CryoZ Workshop

Subscribe to the official DayZ CryoRadio Workshop item, then launch DayZ normally through Steam with the Windows Receiver installed.
